Gallery Walk with Artist Carolyn Egeli Saturday May 22, 2 pm, Through her exhibit of landscape and portrait paintings

Spend an hour with Artist Carolyn Egeli as she walks you through the gallery of her landscape and portrait paintings in the four public rooms of Woodlawn's Manor House. She'll discuss the compositions, values and colors she chooses to showcase water and sky and the land, people and subjects she paints. She welcomes the opportunity to answer questions about the exhibit which will be available at Woodlawn through June. Pictured are some of her new paintings which she will discuss in her walk and talk, offering us a fresh retrospective of her work. No reservations needed.

Carolyn Egeli will provide a demonstration of the art of composition as she considers a picture on a large screen and explains how she considers the subjects of water, sky, land and other objects to begin a new painting as we watch. She will talk about the principles she considers most important to attaining her vision in a new painting. Join us afterwards for conversation about this painting and many others in the exhibit, some newly created for this weekend. No reservations needed.
